Friday/Saturday part 1

Saturday, October 29, 2005

The pink line is where I skateboarded today. I saw the top and bottom of Manhattan. On the way up the subway stopped for a while because there was a guy in the tracks and they had to figure out what to do. It would hurt so bad to get hit by one of those trains.

Also, it looks as if a phoenix is rising from the Fool's Paradise Redo ashes. Nose Goes!

This is where Fool's Paradise used to live. Unfortunately though, she packed up her belongings (ranging from iTunes library to Fool's Paradise capture bins) and moved out sometime yesterday evening. No note, nothing. Just up and left. She was one-of-a-kind. We were even going to get married in late November. I bought all the DVD's and everything. Oh well. Let this be a lesson to anyone who saves all their video footage and/or iTunes library on one external hard drive with no back up. She could just walk out anytime. Do you believe in life after love?

sorry thomas, i love you.
My roommate has recently taken to referring to AOL instant messenger as "aim". It wouldn't be so annoying if he didn't talk about "aim" in loud cell phone conversations that also include the word "sketch" Also, his "aim" would be less annoying if he changed the settings so that the "guffaw" noise didn't sound when a friend entered text. Damn Southern California.

Sunday, October 23, 2005

My roommate keeps closing the window in our super-hot room to make it feel like Southern California summer and I keep opening the window to make it feel like Vermont autumn. The resulting effect is something like a full body version what happens to your warm teeth when they touch ice cream.

looks like another beautiful weekend

"Ok, we need to start gathering ideas for the 2005 MetroCard design. What can we print on the card that will make people buy it again?
"A naked lady!"
" haha we can't do that."
"Yeah, yeah! She could have a tatoo that says MetroCard!"
"Haha! Let's get real now guys. Advertising is expecting a design before the end of the month. What do people want?"
"Butterfinger candy bars, the fat fucks"
"You know...that might be crazy enough to work. I'll run it by Roger. Let's take ten."

In the "comments" link write your own captions. That'd be fun and engaging. Get to work, fuckers!

Misfits dance party on Halloween. If you're near 10th and Broadway around 9:00 stop by the Brittany Hall lounge. Costumes if you want. Dance to the Misfits. There will also be a showing of the GG Allin movie "Hated" and after the party we will walk to the apartment where GG Allin died in the East Village. Gonna be fucking righteous.

Went to the 5boro premier at the Autumn Bowl last night. The skating is amazing but they used "White Lines" by Grandmaster Flash, which was already used in Low Budget. Also, I met Jason Dill in a bar in the East Village at 2 am. Nice guy.

Robin Hood boots.

Wednesday, October 12, 2005

All work and no play makes Kyle fucking pissed. So does 5 days of rain and those weird robin hood boots that are so popular among the female population these days. Teachers: assign fewer "short" 5-page essays. Girls: go back to sneakers. Also, if you carry an umbrella please stab yourself in the eye with one of those metal wires so you know what it's like to walk through a crowd of umbrellas without one. Thanks.

p.s. If you are reading this your life is pathetic and you deserve more. I am sorry for you and I will put up something to make you happy very soon. Right now I have to fucking workworkwork.

It's Friday night.

Here are some pictures from the Bono protest last night. All those people waited 2+ hours to watch Bono walk 25 feet from the door to his SUV. I guess we did too, so nevermind.

Harlem hill bomb.

Talk to you suckers later,

Bono from U2 gave a lecture at NYU tonight. One of my roommates, Alec led a protest. Protesting Bono, I mean. We really hate that guy's sun glasses. I took pictures on a camera that uses film and it needs to be developed, but here are pictures of the signs. Alec made them instead of going to class.
